I've been waiting since July for the person to make room in his shop so we can work on it. Fingers crossed sometime before 1st weekend December.

Yeah Neptune the 2 others are projects when I get to a point on the carrier that bugs me or can't really afford to continue so I started a smaller project in between but my main project will be the Admiral. The Udaloy is still blocks of foam waiting to be cut. The Parshim could go into water early next year and Kashin maybe depending on the admirals workmanship, the Kashin maybe 2011.

Mick I always thought you were taller
Nice work... I think once you manage to power it and play with it in the water you will go on a building frenzy...

Dave, I'm using 100WDC Motors 24V 2300rpm Rated at 6.0A and start turning at 1/2 Volt.
Since I have plenty of room in the model most of the ballast may be batteries but still working on that. Now on Saturday I ran the model with only 2 motors connected to batteries ( 1 motor, 1 shaft and 1 battery) and performance wise not bad but think it could be better. A few people agreed with me to upsize the propellers from 65mm to maybe 75mm or 80mm if they fit. I have to hunt for them but no hurry for now all money spent and to close to Christmas to afford much on the model. Restart around March.

Must have missed this update once again. Nice work there! Great way to see you transport the beast, people must be making very strange faces when you drive by like that!
