This is a re-pop of their release from a few years ago, just with the PE, correct?

Any chance we'll see the all gun version in 1/350?

The hull of Fujimi 1:350 Ise has second line of portholes molded through from the inner side. I would think this is for a "before-transformation" version.

I dont understand exactly what you mean, but this is all the portholes Fujimi's IJN Ise has:

I do not have a camera around now. there is a row of holes in the hull which are just covered on the surface. This holes are located 9 mm down from the portholes which are molded on the surface and shown on the plan.

I believe he means that they can be drilled out from the inside.

I can assure you at the moment that there is no plans(unfortunately) for IJN Hyuga in 1/700 and in 1/350, from Fujimi.
Maybe after December we will have some news.

After 1943 conversion to hybrid aircraft carriers, the ships was almost the same. Before and after the last major recontruction in mid/late 1930's IJN Hyuga had significat differences in the main bridge while her main mast was a cross type unlike IJN Ise wich was a more complicated design.
After the 1943 conversion to hybrid aircraft carrier, IJN Hyuga's main bridge was almost like IJN Ise.
The main mast difference was the only easy way to distinguish them after the 943 conversion to hybrid aircraft carriers too. Also IJN Ise was the first major warship of Japanese navy to recieve a radar. That happend mid to late 1942.

From a 1/700 or 1/350 Fujimi IJN Ise 1944 kit you can produce an IJN Hyuga(as a Hybrid Aircraft carrier/Battleship) with minimal modifications.
And sadly an all gun version of IJN Ise class (an 1941/1942 IJN Hyuga) is still far away from release.

This picture of the contents would disagree with that: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10160874n2/40/1

I had it delivered express from Hobbysearch (1999) a couple of days ago. No barrels, or figures.
