Anyway, some more pictures .
Crew accomodation and emergency steering wheel housing. One of the masts and (Battlefleet) winches. Ships' name and homeport. I used HO model railroad letter transfers.

Ok, my decision is made and boy it wasn't easy! I have sent the ratings off to the Sponsors to get their input and consent on the winners. Once I hear back from them, I will post the results.

Ok everyone, now the moment you all have been waiting for, the results from the triple Group Build. It was a fun 6 months that saw a lot great demonstrations of ship building. I want to give a huge thanks to Battlefleet Models, White Ensign Models, Rob McCune on behalf of Dragon Models and of course Tim Dike and Sean Hert here at Modelwarships.com for making this possible. Wow, that was some awesome builds everyone That certainly was some of the hardest judging that I have ever done. My hats off to you gentlemen, I only hope that I can build to that level someday. also congratulations from me! To all the winners, but also to all the participants. A lot of beautiful builds
there. So, i think everyone is a winner.

I am sorry, that i couldn�t get my vessel ready for the show, but i must admit that really underestimated the work to be done
in relation to the time frame. And furthermore i really don�t like to work "against the clock".
But if i like one of the next group build themes, i�ll be back!

After working on Hokoku Maru for a while I've decided to finish Poelau Laut first. For the first time I'm using Jim's watercolor paper method for the water and Eduard passenger figures to populate the decks.
The unsharp vertical structure on the right in the first picture marks Poelau Laut's place of the birth, the former NDSM shipyard. I live half a mile to the northeast. I've also added the missing booms and their supports.

Thanks for the comment. She's not finished yet, I'm trying to gather enough courage to start rigging her.

After EJ's comment in another thread I've measured the waves. Poelau Laut is doing more than 15 knots which is a bit fast for her. Official service speed was only 14. Lets' say she's recently out of dock and using the Indian ocean monsoon to meet her schedule.
