HI Sirmaumau

the four remotes are originally planned for the searchlights (120cm) but they could replace the rangefinders for the 100 mm AA
I hope that this information is useful to you

hi gentlemen :wave_1:

I wanted to share a little tips with you..endeed, a "horn" on my Richelieu has taken a banana appearance :-D

Image

to straighten its parts in resin, the hot water is ideal ... but at this stage of finishing, for obvious reasons this is to be avoided
I needed a point source of heat, I had thought of the soldering iron, but even simpler, the incense stick as Jim Baumann does to stretch these riggins

Image

the heat is well directed and by slightly exceeding the original position, the horn has recovery the right position

Image

and it no longer moves :thumbs_up_1:

Image

the work continued by preparing the accessories (crates, planks, drums ....) which are in the hangar and the around

Image

they are arranged for give the impression that the hangar is full

Image

the freight train and its locomotive are glued

Image

I have to make a ramp for the gondola and some figurines before to definitively glued the hangar

Image

Image

as can see, not much is visible when it is instaled....
the Richelieu will go to the water very soon
see you soon
cheers
Nicolas

hello gentlemen ...many thanks for your comments :thumbs_up_1:
after researching in the pics in my possession, I managed to determine the aerators locations (donkey's ear in the slang of the french navy)
I spotted them on the pictures of my Richelieu

Image

Image

Here is the result

Image

Image

before definitely joining the sea ,I had to make two protections for the quay

Image

and glued the hangar

Image

the Richelieu will finally joined the sea after four years of work, a pics https://i.imgur.com/sLoaSAW.jpg
see you soon for the next progress
cheers
