Hi Capitao Norbert
Wow, what a fantastic build, the quality is amazing.
I am looking to start the Bismarck aswell but still struggling on getting plans, where did you get yours from? I have just started my thread in this forum.
Can I ask and sorry if I have missed this in one of your posts what is the thickness of your hull ribs, I was looking at 12mm Birch Plywood for the ribs for a 1:100 scale but think they may be overkill or does that sound about right?

Hi WB.
Thanks for kind words.
The plans are from harhaus, Gally And some drawings
I do myself. Gally is an excellent plan.
mine ribs are marine plywood from ceddar with 10 mm covered with 2mm planking. You can use 3mm too.
Any question feel free to ask.
Best all

Hi Capitao Norbert
Yes my thoughts were using 2mm Planking then a 1mm layer of fibre glass, but as I am not going to be using this as an RC model maybe the fibre glass is not needed.
For the hull ribs how did you take into consideration the planking, as I assume the Rib plans on either Gally or Harhaus plans would be the exact size of the outer hull, did you just reduce the plans by 2mm or 3mm?
Do you have an email address for Gally? I have looked at Harhaus but those plans are just too expensive for me.
Cheers

Brilliant work Norberto! Very sharp looking guns, the rivets add that extra effect, which makes a difference!
