This is excellent practice for CVs and CVNs but, I can wait longer than you for my diving into post war attack carriers. CVs and CVNs are at the end of my priority list for this collection. My phobia being the airwings, I'd have to admit. I find that I am forcing myself to complete just the 8 helos for this build.

Work on the Boxer continues with the island......

Carl, Carrier models don't necessarily have to have airwings on deck. For example, when they are in port tied up to the dock, they usually don't have an airwing embarked. You might find some tugs around their waterline though

Excellent as always Carl!! My Boxer never even came as close to yours! The markings are also spot-on!!

With this info, you could build another dockside dio using the tugs supplied with the Boxer kit!

It's mostly compete with the exception of a few more helos.

I really admire your new water methods!

I'm a bit curious with the deck markings. On my Boxer, there are no helo circles on the flight deck, and the number is placed on the center, painted yellow. perhaps a different time period?

The kit's decals are from 1959 I think or "as redesignated". The decals that I have used are Starfighter's set and they indicate a 1960-1965 time frame. There is also a set for 1966-70.

Well, I decided to complete all 8 H-34's instead of the initial intent of only 6 of them. I've also added halyards to the inboard yardarm.
