Well, I picked up two of the paints today - ModelMasters doesn't make the light gray. The Ocean Gray is the same as ModelMaster's "AMC (Air Mobility Command) Gray" FYI. As far as the light gray goes, since it's Gray #37 I'm going to use the 1945 5-L Light Gray, since it should be a match (last page).

Super can't wait to see you start putting the kit together, Tracy!!!
Will the camouflage be standard on all Freedom class ships? My USS Fort Worth, LCS 3, model from Bronco arrived yesterday. I was thinking of going with the grey paint listed in its instructions. But if she will be getting a camo paint job, i may want that instead.
Given the circumstances on the link posted earlier, I don't believe so. And if they do decide to, I hope they rethink and come up with a better pattern.
Also Dave, my kit is already about 75% done - I started it a while ago and put it down when the LHD kit arrived
Then winter came......

That's cool. I really look forward to it. In the mean time, here are some more pictures of the new paint.
Great stuff, thanks for posting these shots. Just need a stern shot now. I could have sworn I saw this ship with the anchor chain configuration of the LCS-3 but clearly that didn't happen.
