I see the Bismarck received 400 cannonballs. I didn't know it was at Trafalgar.

thanks

Now i might be off topic, but haveing almost compleated the new Tamiya 1/700 Saratoga kit, i just cant belive how different she looks compared to my old Fujimi kit i built a few years ago. The Tamiya is SO MUCH lower, sleaker and more finely detailed, it makes the Fujimi Sara look like something out of a kids cartoon !? Now i just hope Tamiya will make a, just as fantastic, new retooled Yorktown class in the same scale.....And some British cruisers.....And Italian destroyers, and Brooklyn, some tankers, supplyships etc, etc.

That's what happens when you have 40 years of technological and research advancements. You'll note a similar level of improvement with any other company (including Fujimi themselves) with kits tooled in the last 10 years.

Is this a new tool Yamato class on the way from Aoshima?

https://hlj.com/product/AOS05264

There's an etching set for it as well:

https://hlj.com/product/AOS05265

I could be wrong but I didn't think Aoshima had a 1/700 scale kit of the Yamato/Musashi outside their weird sci-fi ones.

In 2016 Aoshima released 2 sci-fi (new tool) models of Yamato/Musashi

And this Musashi is rebox of it's new model

In 2014 Aoshima reboxed Tamiya's Yamato

@ Miguel

yes, bless them. So good would be to have a sharnhorst or some of the Japanese warships in full hull in 1/700. Glad Trumpeter offers this option. I recently bought a Mikasa in 1/700 in full hull, cant wait to get my hands on that tiny thing!
