We moved into this place with the workbench already built in about a year ago. It is the loft of an A-frame with views outside to the woods on each end. Out the front of the house is a lake view. What a find!!

You could easily open up a small model shop in there, fit a bed,or a fridge, maybe a toilet too..endless possibilities i see as Master Yoda would say.

That green atrocity actually turned out to be one of my better builds...remember, I only just restarted ships with the Arizona I posted the other day...

Sorry for posting such a wingy thing on a "floater" board. That will have to be 30 lashes with a wet noodle.

Nice looking B-24. Now you can do some "real" modeling.

German sense of humour? Absolute nonsense! Guido obviously uses a British script writer. God knows we have to have a sense of humour to live here!

Here's a couple photos of my new workshop after the Shanghai move. Its in the rear of my garage & has the luxury of an adjoining bathroom as well as a small "ayi" bedroom for when my wife gets fed up of hearing me say... "I'll be up in just a few more minutes, dear." More manly things like power tools & a painting hood are to come later along with a few choice pieces of "art" for the wall, so don't chide me for those fancy door pulls - my wife chose the cabinetry & surprised me with her choice once the installation was done. I'm trading a 1M RTR sailboat for a top end mini mill & press from one of my friends who is the primary supplier to the world's trades. A lathe will come later so I have something proper to do end caps & turned parts - am negotiating that over the spare Gato kit I have. After 4 years of apartment living, its great to have some space to myself.
After not building for months, Yamato comes out first followed by a long delayed Flower corvette & new WTC for the Type VII.

Thanks. The house is still a construction zone - just kicked out 6 cabinet installers who've been here for the past 13 hours finishing the home office & my workshop. Power tools come next... I CAN'T WAIT!!
