This is now my favorite Ron Horabin build. Tough to top USS North Carolina, but I just really like this ship.

Thanks STEVE, nice to see you, she,s coming along nicely, still lots of fidly bits to do, painted all the twin and quad 40,s to day, thats to come.

Thanks Jef, But as it was part if the rigging I thought I would include it, as for finish were getting there, as for the next project only 3 people know that, and I am one of them, :heh: :heh: :wave_1: :thumbs_up_1:

Hi Guys, I got round to putting the guard rails on the quads and twin bofors,these were made from brass wire, and drilled in the rear platform, also fitted the sights, and painted all the guns.

Hi Ron Those 40 mm are rather nice . It's amazing what a little paint can do . Did Moffett carry any 20mm ?

Well Guys , yestester day was the lowest recorded figure for hits on any of my builds, 26 in total, Even Iron Duke had 78, I do think once a week up date, would be enough. :wave_1: :wave_1: :thumbs_up_1:

Scharnhorst had his first coat of varnish yesterday . am i right in thinking that i lightly sand this then draw on the joints then top coat with another dressing of varnish.
nice paint job on Moffet and so bloody quick so far you have built one & a half ships to my one & better.
