Flyhawk have announced a 1940 HMS Illustrious, which should be convertible to a 1942 HMS Victorious which was in the Pacific sometimes known as USS/HMS Robin

What's wrong with the Aoshima Illustrious or Victorious?

The RN carrier we really need in 1/700 is HMS Indomitable!!!!!

Is it just me, or would having a mast sticking up in the middle of the Flight Deck maybe get in the way of airplanes?

Also, didn't the pointed flight deck at the bow create problems?

That's wierd.
Then it should be marked as "Out of stock", or still "Preorder". Instead, the "Add to cart" button is present.
Maybe they just got some automation process that after due date the "Preorder" status turns in to Add to "cart", automatically.
I didn't order to check, but it is possible that during ordering process, the preorder status would appear again.

Unfortunately I think Ralf@NNT is right. Usually you can find the item on E-bay the same day that it is released. I checked E-bay and nothing.

I guess we have to wait until July/August..:(

It's the Aoshima kit that is out - at least in Japan. It's on eBay from Japanese sellers..
