I was trying to fix some light issues as I found colours on previous photos too dull. This is better:

No, Navy Blue. It is some kind of blueish grey.

And here is the final look of the hull. Now I will wait 48h for oil paints to set and dry. Next - matt varnish.

I have started to work on the deck. As Mk1 wooden deck is rather dull and lacks details in colour variation I have tried to make it more interesting with the use of oils. I've done this for the first time and I am not sure did I do this ok. Can anyone comment on this?

Here are some pictures. I have put oils on upper deck, lower deck is not painted.

Hi Wojtek. I like the deck with the oil effects applied. I think it is a better fit with the condition of the weathered hull. Beautiful work so far. :thumbs_up_1:

Thanks Greg,

I have copied the effect at the rest of the deck. I didn't want to make it too dark as I see at pictures of Arizona that even when She is worn on the hull, still fresh and brushed on the deck. I left only the differentiation in color of single boards.

Sorry but I'm confused, are you planning to build the Arizona in #5 standard navy gray? Like the boats?

Hi John,

I have changed my camera to iPhone 12 and I still didnt catch a grip on settings. This photo is a bit overexposed Colors are the same as the rest of the ship - navy blue with a tint of grey.

I didnt see a difference in colours of Arizona and ships on deck. Am I wrong?

On my computer the ship looks dark blue and the boats look a very light gray. This is why the question was asked.
