Good idea, I would also be interested in generic merchant ships (WWII) (or anything that would be adaptable for this) for my convoy collection.steviecee wrote:I'd buy a tramp steamer or two

I would LOVE to see some "Fort" and "Park" cargo vessels that were designed and built here in Canada, as well as any other similar ships

There is also a book titled " A Great Fleet of Ships- The Canadian Forts and Parks" that's a GREAT resource.

Re: news from AJMMODELS
My preference would be HMS Revenge in 1941 or HMS Royal Sovereign in 1942--but only if you can access accurate plans and A&As for either of them.
I like these schemes (first two are Revenge, third is Royal Sovereign):

Good luck!

Re: news from AJMMODELS
The plans show the ship from the date of construction and the modernizations are sometimes drawn with a pencil or pen, this is for example on the set of Hms Ramillies from 1938.

Once upon a time there were no new additions to 1-700 scale models. The four newest. They will be available together with Mac carriers.Regards

Re: news from AJMMODELS
perhaps you would consider making the HMS Eagle of WWII vintage, a ship that hasn't been done
