Wow! This is a seriously impressive scratchbuild. (I hadn't seen it earlier, as it was in the "Calling All Exeter/York Class Fans" thread which I haven't looked through yet)
The early in-progress shots are nearly as impressive as the finished article... I don't know how you manage to scratchbuild the superstructure to such a degree of detail and complexity in 1/350 scale! I'd be happy if I could get the same results in 1/144 or 1/96. The weathering and shading also makes a huge difference to the finished model, it really brings the ship to life.

This might even inspire me to make an attempt at building the ancient Frog/Novo 1/500 Exeter in my stash... not a bad kit for its day even if 1/500 isn't really my scale.
