Well I believe I completed the ship. I had some problems trying to get the decals on so you'll notice the ship decaless. I also had alittle problem with the two seaplanes so they may look alittle messed up. The machine guns were a little annoy to do because they were so small and so many but I was able to get all them in without losing any. After a couple I got into a rythmn.

Some future things I'd like to do for the ship are:
Weather it
Build a seascape(need to learn how to)

Here are the pics.
I seemed to have had problems with focus issues so some of the ship may be clear while other parts are blurred out. I used 2 cameras; my Nikon SLR and Nikon Point-n-Shoot.
I started taking pics of the ship in the sun but I felt it gave too much shine to the ship so I repositioned into the shade. I also decided to take the pics of the ship on a blue towel to simulate ocean. Also some pics depict the ship aiming it's weapons out to sea.

Hope you enjoy my first completed model ship:

I enjoyed it. Wish I went with the 350 though so there would be more detail and those machine guns wouldn't be so tiny and frustrating :P

I've been trying to do some research on future models that I could do from the US Navy
