Absolutely fantastic! The shots with HMS Amazon look more like the real thing than a model!
What a treat!!!

This is going to be fabulous in July with Dreadnought and Victorious and if I can lob Geoff a freebe running set, Marlbourgh too.

And my Type XX1 U-Boat. Will need to make three trips from our house to the lake though,

only four miles away.

You will all have to wait until July 2nd now, before the Duke sails again, this time with Paul's Dreadnought, Barry and possibly Dave's Amethyst again, the Victorious and many other spledid warship model's.
This promises to be a spectacular day and many more photos should appear shortly afterwads.

So you admit it. We Pirates have been saying that about you for years.

While I've really enjoyed the building of ID over the last few months, I must say she looks absolutely fantastic in her natural element: full credit to you Ron. She's beautiful...and what a sight teamed up with the Amazon.
Many congratulations and thank you for such inspirational work - it got me building again.

Well guys, I thank you all for your kind comments, she does look good on the water and sailed very well in the conditions, you can not tell from the photo,s that Dave took, but there was a stiff breeze blowing, she was very stable turning across the wind, I will get some more photo,s soon when I take her for a sail in better conditions, I still have some things to finish off on her, but they are only small stuff, she was in for a refit yesterday, took off the deck and refitted the rudder section, it did not work as good as it should have, all that is fixed now and deck refitted, now more throw on the rudders for turning,

. till next time , thank you again, ARH
