I have a question about how the antennas are handled on this ship. When the aircraft is loaded and unloaded from the submarine it appears that they aerials are detached somehow to get them out of the way. What I'm trying to understand is how that antenna is disconnected. Does it detach at the stern? Somewhere in the middle? Any thoughts? Here's a photo showing the antenna disconnected. As you can see it's laying slack on the deck at the sail. I can't find any pictures of what's going on aft. Thanks for your help and ideas!
