Thanks for the post Bob!

That is a really nice set but it certainly supports Tracy's point about the cost. $220 for the pre-order and another $139 and we haven't even talked about the airwing yet!

I am doing Intrepid 1957 with CVG-6. The cost of the air wing without shipping:

AD Sky Raiders(15) L'Arsenal---$30
F9F-8/F9F-8P(15) L'Arsenal---$30
F2H (15) L'Arsenal---$30
FJ Furry (12) Shapeways-$40
AJ-1 Savage (3) Shapeways-$23
H-25 HUP (3) Shapeways-$16

Total CVG-6 $169

Ouch! That is the first time I have totaled it all up. I guess that you don't really need the entire air wing but I like a busy flight deck. That is the problem for me on these projects...In for a penny, in for a pound!

Good to see that a PE set is ready, and it looks really nice. Most sorely needed out of that set are the PE life raft baskets, glad to see those were not overlooked!

So when the heck are we going to see some decals and yellow gear in resin?! I am really hoping that someone comes out with the CVW I need for this commission project before I get to the airwing, I don't like my own decals nearly as much as the ones done by the pros!
