I'm proceeding on more than one "front" simultaneously because often there is the need to wait some hours before to go on with a particular work, ae after washing.
Here is the hull with all the painted superstructures, I made the first washing with the usual dark oil mixture.
While waiting for the hull to dry, I'm playing with resin parts...
..there are DCT, 4" ammo lockers and four inch guns parts
...

and waiting for the resin to dry I'm working on the HACS master patterns. I made the structure starting from a resin cylinder:
.. than the canvas cover is made with plasticard and putty:
In the meantime a new accessory arrived by air mail, my new WEM Hood anchors, that are excellent mastered and casted, unfortunately I didn't check and I found that the package contains only two anchors ( for 1941 Hood ) ... so I need to order another one set
Here a photo with WEM anchors, assembled 4" guns and HACS almost finished:

Yes, I'm waiting for a friend that's searching the right base were to put the ship, I'll set the Barham in a calm sea at low speed to represent she entering the Alexandria harbor 'cause I would like to use some open hatches on deck that comes with Gold Medal models Hood detail set

Last update before to leave Italy for a short trip in France with my wife.
Main mast WIP, added the boat derrick, HACS, ladders ecc.
... here it's in place with the first paint work done:
Aircraft crane, essentially it is the GMM Hood crane with some major modifications:
Here is a test with the first of the four 0.5 Vikers MG, it looks good but there are many things that can be improved in the next three mounts.
This is the sequence:
Ciao!!!
