Thanks so much!
Happy to announce sets of accurately sized pairs of funnels for New Orleans class heavy cruisers USS Quincy CA-39 and USS Vincennes CA-44 are now available in 1/700 scale and 1/350 scale. The funnels of these two ships were smaller than their sisters, a feature overlooked in some models.

Re: Model Monkey Catalog
Happy to announce a set of 36 Ready Service Ammunition Lockers for 5"/25 cal. anti-aircraft guns, 1941-1942 - type, is now available.
The set is composed of 24 single lockers and 12 double lockers. This set is suitable for Pearl Harbor attack through 1942-era US Navy battleships, aircraft carriers, cruisers, etc. Although there were variations, this type of locker, with sloped doors and external heat radiator plates, is seen in several post-December 7, 1941 photos of salvage operations at Pearl Harbor.

Re: Model Monkey Catalog
I'm not sure if I asked this before, and if I did then I'm sorry for asking again, but could you do 6in guns with blast bags in 1/700 for Skywave Cleveland class kits? I would definitely buy a set to replace some barrels I need. If possible could you make a version of your turret set with the guns in place? That would be pretty helpful, to me at least. I can guarantee I'd purchase a set of either.

Happy to announce sets of 15 gun tubs for 3"/50 cal. mounts is now available. The tubs contain 12 interior ribs and a lip around the upper edge.

Carefully cut away or clip away any unneeded sections. 3D-printed acrylic plastic is brittle. Careful use of a very sharp hobby knife or clippers is recommended.

Re: Model Monkey Catalog
I received Steve's very nice Quincy/Vincennes funnels yesterday in both 1/700 and 1/350 scales and they are very nice. Great replacement for the 1/700 Trumpeter funnels which were not changed in the Quincy/Vincennes kits from the other ships of the class. Great job Steve and thank you for doing them.

The 1/700 Intrepid Island arrived today.
What a nice piece of art work!
It looks quite nice perched on top of the Ships & Co. SCB-125 Intrepid. Well done Steve!
Thanks,
Mark

Re: Model Monkey Catalog
Thanks so much, Mark! Hope the island is a big help.
In other news, New Mexico class battleship turrets are now also available in 1/350 scale for Iron Shipwrights and 1/426 scale for Revell conversions (1/429 true scale).
The New Mexico class turrets are not the same as Tennessee class turrets. Although the gunhouses are essentially the same, the armored rangefinders are entirely different.

1/800 island is nice as well as the frog eyes. Just order my Kitty Hawk kit for Indy. Hope your island in 1/350 comes after New Years. That's when I start on her.

Re: Model Monkey Catalog
Nice work Steve!
I did some research and it appears that the 1958 Saratoga Island will work for a Ranger or Indy up to the late 60's. Neither Indy or Ranger got the flat stack but retained the angled stack. They also appear to have simiar layouts for the Pri Fly Bridge. Forrestal was different so it requires more mods.
I have also been thinking about a 1/350 Kitty Hawk to do Ranger. Only the hull is useful for the Forrestal's. However, if you get a JFK and combine the rest of the KH Kit with a JFK kit, you can make an America. Pretty expensive kit bashing though!
Are the sponsons for the Forrestal's on the hit parade for the new year? I have a 1/700 Fujimi Conny being targeted for a 1/700 Ranger Conversion.
Thanks Again Steve!!
