I have these and the scans are excellent. These are the Bath Iron Works plans for building the ships and there is just about everything you need for a model (and a lot more). You can print in any scale you want.

I'm sure you can order the DVD from them to ship overseas. Contact them to make arrangements.

For printing here in the US we can take the files to a Kinkos or other chain print shop. They have wide-bed plotters, and if you find someone who knows what he is doing, they can print the drawings full size (3 feet wide). Just about any engineering print shop can also plot the files.

You really don't need scale drawings for most things. The blueprints are dimensioned and you can calculate the scale dimensions. Working from the DVD images in a photo editing program you can copy just a part of a drawing and print that at scale.

When I started my USS Oklahoma City CLG-5 model I was plotting many of the blueprints, and soon had a big pile of paper. But I realized it was much easier just to work from the computer screen. I haven't made a paper print in years.

Hi thomas, this plan is for the Halford (and not Hanford) with the catapult, not really interesting for me who seek operational ship :

"The Halford was one of 5 Fletcher-class destroyers which were modified to have a cruiser catapult installed on the aftersuperstructure replacing the #3 5-inch gun. This was an experiment to provide aircover for convoy support. The experiment was not successful, and the catapult was removed and the ships were returned to Fletcher-class standard."

By the way there's plenty of plan for Fletcher class destroyer (1/96 and so on) but having a real 1/72 plan is time saving, you don't need to re-calculate everything, and for DrPR I prefer to work with the entire model in one paper although I understand your way of work.

Anyway, I'm sure I will solve this problem when the time to build will come, maybe some sellers will accept to convert one of their plan into 1/72.
