I stole one of my sons aquarium nets. The mesh seemed fine enough. I sprayed them black, but as they stretch the green shows (one downside). Over all I was happy. I tried to use PE but they looked like little cages vs netting. Thanks

Now I have plenty for the Cimarron Project or other rplenishment projects.

this must sound like teasing you but infact I am not.
Seeing your carrierdecks is great but the scale would look much more better if (just an option) you cut the red-white borderlines in lenght, in half.

Its the same with the 1/350 CVNs, trumpeters lines are way over done and GMM has the correct ones but one heas to line up all the decalparts nice up tight.

You 'r a surgeon or dentist, am I right?

Of course critics are always welcome. I ll do this in the future. Only one of my carriers is finished the others will be improved gradually till they will reach the level of CVN-75 which is the standard i want to reach. Thanks anyway for your comments.

Here are some photos of a couple of the 1/700 PT Dockyard Fast Attack Craft. I posted about them in early June on this thread and you asked for photos.
I apologize for the delay, but work has kept me busy.

As I said before, they are intended for wargaming and are not the most detailed resin kits. I like them because they provide the basics (hull/superstructure) for 1/700 FACs that I would otherwise have to scratchbuild. I scratchbuilt PC-9 Chinook (in the MW gallery) and it took a long time. If I had waited a couple years, I could've bought a PT Dockyard version for a reasonable price and saved a lot of time. The PT Dockyard kits can be detailed (with PE/Skywave detail parts, etc.) and turned into good looking models.

I'm currently working on an Operation Markettime (Vietnam offshore patrol) diorama with the PT Dockyard 1960s version of the Asheville class, a Loose Cannon sampan and a Skywave P-2 Neptune maritime patrol aircraft. I'll post pictures when I'm a little farther along.

probably the best way to show a flying helicopter in a ship model! Very nice effect. I also like your water effect a lot and of course the more or less rare subject of a replenisher, of which there are way too few kits around!

Thank you for the nice comments. One of the next project will be JAG's new AO, it is sitting here taunting me. That is at lest one more modern replenisher then there is Ship and Co's that has a kit out as well. So there are a few to get started on. It just take me what seems forever to finish a project. But next project will be a MHC Osprey Class or maybe a Kidd Class.

I just got my Cimmaron today and i ll start building it in the next few days. This will not slow down my current builds but it will rather accelerate them.

What kind of shape was it in when it arrived? Your the farthest away from us, so I worry that time and distance will take it's toll on the kit during shipping.

Tom - Nice to see you back, hope every thing is well. I received the CD and thank you for getting out quickly.

Nektarios - I cannot build as quick as you, but which ship are you going to do? with or without CIWS?

Everything was alright Tom. When i saw Sacramento for the first time i thought that this was the best kit one could ever produce. But this time you ve done even better. I just wonder if your next UNREP ship will be even better than the first two.

I have not decided yet which one i will do.
I will do eventually all five ships in the class but I m thinking to start with AO-179 which is the only one that had maintenance enclosures installed.
