Here's my question; what camera and what settings did you use to take the full length photos? I've had a devil of a time taking decent photographs of my 1/144 Fletcher build because the thing is so big. Also, can you post a picture of how you set the backdrop and lights up? I'm a novice photographer and this is a little different than taking shots of a 1/72 scale airplane!

Absolutely stunning work. This is, without a doubt, the definitive build of this kit. If I ever get a chance to build it for myself, this will be my bible. Absolutely phenomenal work, as Bill said it deserves to be in a museum where many hundreds of people can appreciate.

Yeah, what he said. Fantastic build. Perhaps one of the 2 or 3 best looking destroyer models I've seen, along with Bob S's Kidd and Keith Bender's Benson class DD.

Hello Pat,

Sorry to response you this late. I have here photos of how I took my photos.

Camera/lense/flash : Nikon D3s / Nikkor 24-85 F2.8-4 / Nikon SB-600
Close up phoots : 1/60 sec, F11, ISO 560 to 11400, without flash
The two side view of the whole ship : 1/60 sec, F11, ISO 1600, with flash set at -1EV

Take good care and don't try to do any modelling until you are fully recovered. There is no need to rush and show us your master piece. At the moment, just sit back and enjoy our work, okay ?

Hi guys !

Glad to share with you that the model is now being displayed in the Hong Kong Maritime Museum.
I think there would be it's ultimate home. It is good that many would see it, rather than just me in my home.
