A new Scharnhorst might be a real nice kit but with hundreds unbuilt in my stash I won't waste money replacing my old one anytime soon. Much prefer never before produced kits.

The photos are, as is often the case with Trumpeter early announcements, stock photos which may, or may not, represent the actual fit represented in a kit when it (eventually) goes on sale. The photos shown appear to be as follows:
CALCUTTA - the photo appears to show HMS CARLISLE in her very early fit (hangar underneath bridge)
COLOMBO - as converted to AA cruiser
NAIAD - as completed
ARGONAUT - as completed
SCYLLA - as completed

Naiad had ten 5.25in guns for most of its short career. I'd guess Argonaut will be in the eight 5.25 and a quad pompom in the C position, with a late light AA, fit. Scylla had 8 x 4.5 throughout with various light guns. 20mm and radar fit whatever the intended date will be hard to pin down, it always is. And this comment will be long forgotten before we see all three.

The preview of the Revell 2019 catalog includes a late war variant of their 1/72 PT and a Type IXC early Uboat.

I've been waiting for Trumpeter's 1/700 Belfast (1942), and it seems to be taking a long time to get released. Does anyone know why, or anything more about it?

I fear that you are not the only one asking that question about Trumpeter's Belfast kit - and that there are not many knowing the answer.

Another 1/350 Graf Zeppelin class? Seriously?
Ships that were never completed and never sailed the high seas, done in 1/350 and 1/700 already by Trumpeter and now being re-done in 1/350 by another manufacturer. World of Warships has a lot of answer for.

1:700 As-commissioned US Midway?! Heck yeah!!! My goal of completing the full USN carrier series has moved a step closer to reality!
And 1:700 Nassau-class? Actually getting the drop on Combrig this time instead of duplicating stuff they've already made! (Similarly, Flyhawk with their Moltke)
But why another 1:350 Graf Zeppelin? (I wonder if this is related to that other non-Trumpeter Chinese-made GZ kit we saw some sprue shots of before it vanished into the ether?)
They may have an odd name, but Very Fire sure has been delivering on what they've promised thus far. At last month's Ship Modelers Association meeting's show-and-tell, I shared the new 1:350 Montana and Schleswig-Holstein and pointed out how they proved that truly anything is possible in model ship releases these days - and it keeps being proven ever more true! (Note, that's "anything," not necessarily that specific thing you're hoping for...)

I agree. While their Iowas aren't absolutely perfect (my hope for the Joyyard kit seeing the light of day is fading quickly at this point), they are hands down leaps and bounds better then the Tamiya kits, so I look forward to these new releases.
