Here's what I use for the rigging.
I just remember it being called fine rigging material on WEM where I ordered it years ago. I don't recall it even having any brand.
But it's comparable to ez-line I guess.
Works pretty nicely, the only downside I can think of to stretch sprue it's you can't really create any sag. So you need to tighten all lines as otherwise it looks terrible.

My display case also arrived today and I have to say she looked pretty damn sweet in it!
I thought to give her something more enjoyeable than the usual few euro plank I used
I got the Tamiya's own display case as I got it for discount and I have to say it's pretty damn nice without being too fancy!
The acryl corners are really nicely done rounded smooth. The wooden base accepts the pontos stands nicely aswell, there's a recess on the backside that's
40 cm long to adjust for the holes for the stands.

wow mate, very much impressed with the rigging. And a custom made display case is on my wishlist as well. Won't come cheap though I think.
Again, impressive rigging, the part which frightens me probably the most...well done
Looking at the rigging material it's the Ushi vander Rosten stuff you used, I have it as well in two seperate thicknesses

Excellent! I've used this stuff on past builds. How did you do the "blobs" at the joins?

Nice we finally have a brand for the rigging material!
They are just Krystal Klear multipurpose white glue for everything! (Tm) painted hull red color.
Good thing you all liking the rigging. I'm mostly pleased with the result so far myself, still a lot to learn and most definately an aftform itself!

well, If I can get a rigging which looks half as good as yours I'm happy. I reckon you have to be quite carefully not to break anything whilst doing it ey?

Actually this stuff is very forgiving as it's really hard to break it. I only managed to break one line because it got scratched by some sharp Pe on the mast.
Unless you meant breaking the Pe already attached to the ship ...

More than decent! That's an impressive build, by anyone standards. Super work!
On that Uschi stuff.....any guess if that's the fine or super fine rigging? I have the EZ Line Fine material, but compared to what you used, it's THICK.

I'm fairly certain it was just fine.
