Best bet is to just order the decals from starfighter. The website says they will ship 2-3
Days, I can't see any mention of being out of stock. This is how they work. Printed on demand

Hi Simon,
Well look at that, yesterday it wouldn't work, today it did! My bank is gonna be empty for a while!

I don't know what to tell you, but I answered an e-mail yesterday about that very set, and an order was placed form the UK for it from a new customer. Better check your spam folder, or use a different address.

Mark, I am so impressed by the service you provide, my decals arrived at my home in the U.K. today less than a week after ordering and what a set too, they look great and I'm tempted to do the carrier wing first, just to use them.
Well done and thank you.

So what is up with the Cyber Hobby 1/700 CVAN-65 kit? It has gone AWOL as far as I can tell.

I've seen Ray Bean post that they are correcting some issues with the decals. If that's the case, then maybe later on this year.Tracy White wrote:Still being worked on. No official date still.

That is correct... the decal sheets are currently having some corrections and additions to. Also, the painting guide is being re worked, and several other items related to the instructions and other things are being worked on.
The TEAM worked hard on this, and we are fine tuning a lot of details. Nothing is LATE as no actual release date was ever given. All will be worth waiting for. It should be a few weeks yet we are told.

My appologies, CVN65 USS Enterprise during 1996. Do you also know when they changed from light boxes in the middle of the island 65s to the outline of single bulbs.

Tamiya CVN 65
Just completed my version of Tamiya's greatest ever model. USS Enterprise in 1/350 scale. Although this kit is some 30 years old, if anyone wants to build an aircraft carrier model, this is where to start.
I bought this model back in 1994 and never started it until 2007. Reason being I had this vision of super detailing the model.
At the time I was unaware of what was developing for us ship building modellers in the form of PE and resin parts and after market decal sets and so on . I was trying to sort out in my mind how to achieve the level of detail I wanted.
This website got my creative juices flowing and then I stumbled on Pekka Rauttajoki's stunning version and Gabriel Suranyi's incredible 1/72 scale model. A lot of other modellers efforts spurred me on more. Among others Paulo Yuen, Robert Apfelsweig, Peter van Buren and so on.
My model has come out very nicely in my own opinion . Whilst not 100% accurate in terms of airwing markings ( Used Trumpeter and GMM decals) and other details, I came to the conclusion during my build that no model of this ship will ever be 100% accurate because she has been around so long and has changed so much in her very long career.
I went to a lot of trouble to detail the model as much as I could and a lot of scratch-building and aftermarket parts were used.
WEM Enterprise ship and airwing PE, GMM elevators and carrier decals, Trumpeter and Tamiya aircraft, Veteran resin parts, Tom's Modelworks liferaft racks, stretched sprue, hangar deck with LEDs and Bert Kinsey's book as a reference were all employed.
I will submit pictures to the gallery shortly. I have to finish the stand

Re: Calling all USS Enterprise CVN-65 fans
Can't wait to see it Arthur. I have the kit waiting next in line. I do have one question about this kit. What version of the ship is it? I'm guessing it's around 1982ish? Since there are no decals for the airwing for this time frame I already know the decals I use for the airwing will be totally inaccurate.
