It's looking great Admiral. But I think you need to talk the wife into letting you build a nice little water garden so you can really put her in the water.

The tank had to be emptied soon after I had done my test out, the wife has a phobia about frogs, they can smell water from miles away, if there was one in the garden she would lock the house door, :lol_3: :lol_3: and send me out to remove it, spiders she just picks them up and is not bothered, but frogs, :lol_3: :lol_3: :lol_3: :lol_3:

Like others have said it looks great and I like your test tank idea for large models. One question, what is one the main deck next to the aft torpedo tube on the starboard side? I hadn't noticed it before, is it a loading machine? Greg

Hi Ron :wave_1:

are the bottles protecting something, or are you plagued by mutant frogs :lol_3: and you use the bottles to bash them over the heads :lol_1:
of course you could just have used the bottled water to test for water integ on the removable parts of Moffett.

Would that include 2lb toads, Ron, as the BBC reported today?

:eyes_spinning:

Still, the Moffett looks lovely - I can't wait to see her in some bigger pond!

Some might remember when the cat got in and jumped up on the model, well they are cat scarers, the cat looks at them and see a elongated face reflected in the water and it scares them, it does work because we have no big cats about like , Tigers and leopards in the garden :lol_3: :lol_3: , came home at dinner time , the test tank was gone, :lol_3: :lol_3:

Now an HMS Tiger would be something to have in the garden. :eyebrows:

Great to see her on the water Ron. All the little details add up to a fantastic looking ship. I can't wait to see her in the pond...All these great RC/Scratch-build posts really make me wish I had a workshop and could make one of these for myself! Keep the pictures rolling, I love following these threads.

floats to her marks nicely!

Your wife would love the newts, frogs and toads at our place....

still, the test tank would be big enough... :eyebrows: :eyebrows: even though the blue is a bit bright! :lol_pound: :lol_pound:

Looking really smart--launch day proper is just around the corner!

Bravo

Thanks Jim, I got everything in and working correctly to day, I can now get on building some more small fittings, also some more painting. :jump_1: :jump_1: :wave_1: :thumbs_up_1:
