Having worked myself up to attack the resin kit...

I am now eager to see the Injection version and perhaps combine the best of both kits for my model....?

Anyone knows exactly what date the Aoshima's IJN Nagato represents ? I can see a catapult and I guess she has double 12,7 cm DP/AA guns ?
I think by her TROM that the date is early 1930's ?
"1932:
Four twin (4x2) dual purpose 5-inch (127-mm) HA guns are installed. The existing 3-inch (76-mm) AA guns are landed. Four 40-mm/62 Vickers AA guns (2 x 2) are also added to the weather deck.

25 February 1933:
Geneva, Switzerland. Japan withdraws from the League of Nations and decides she will no longer abide by restrictions such as the Washington of 1922 and the London Treaty of 1930 that impose limitations on the number and size of her warships.

Summer 1933:
A Kure Type No. 2 Model 3 catapult, collapsible crane and rails are installed between the mainmast and the No. 3 turret. "

I do not see the barrels in the detailed photos for the link. Is that the correct link?

Does the PE that comes separately from Fujimi have the brass barrels. # 112763

The best IJN Nagato in the market at the moment, IJN Nagato deluxe edition by Fujimi in 1/500 includes the brass barels.
The seperate box of PE for the IJN Nagato in 1/700 by Fujimi dosnt have them.

Edit: To repeat my question, "a question from IJN Tosa and IJN Amagi class thread, IJN Nagato class when was original build, was equipped with 12 cm or 8 cm AA and how many ?"
Thanks in advance.

The Item Code is FUJ610030 or you can just use the number 610030 1/500 series

Atma,

Wish you to know I appreciate your help. I did write HLJ earlier to confirm about the barrels and they replied today saying that no barrels are included in FUJ61003 so I suppose it is no longer available.
I asked them to reconfirm.

If the 1/500 IJN Nagato deluxe is out of stock, the "normal" edition is still in stock, and you can buy the seperate PE set by Fujimi.
Hobby Search Japan has just restored their stock of IJN Nagato in 1/500 by Fujimi with a complete PE set.
You can order it from them.

If you are planning to buy/build a IJN Nagato the 1/500 IJN Nagato by Fujimi is at the moment the best in market(Like the 1/500 IJN Yamato by Fujimi aswell).
