Red,
I know the feeling, my wife always snubbed her nose at my ships, but I told her "Want me to spend the money on something that I can get into trouble with, like bar hopping or things like that." she made a compermise with me, limiting my buying to one a month, (except supplies), but I still sneek in some every now and then. LOL

I am just getting back into the swing of things myself. I am at awe with al the fine models being create.

One project I finished about a year ago, which I do not think I ever shared is 1/72 LCAC. Much larger than the 1/700 versions I am used too.

Thanks, Its good to be able to spend some time at the bench. Just finished the LPD-21 New York and working on Trumeter's AOE4 USS Detroit. Then I have a CVN to work on. I will try to post some pics of the New York and status of the AOE.

Lol ... as it looks like, there is no difference at this issue between the countries around the world.

Following discussion at me, after I ordered HMS Repulse + LR set last weekend:

"Honey, in a few days a package will arrive with my next ship to build"
"Again a ship? Don't you have enough stuff in your show case?"
"And you don't have enough stuff in the cupboard?"
"No, never!"
"Well, but when you play next topmodel after you bought new boots, skirt or whatever and I react same way, what then?"
"You can't compare this, my things I wear later, your stuff is only standing around to take dust!"
"Interesting ... then I can only wonder about layer of dust on your stuff ... ehm, 2 dozen boots!"

The advantage of wisdom is that you can play dumb; conversely, it is more difficult.

BRILLIANT. I'm using this reasoning next time she complains about another kit.
