Hi, everybody!
Thanks for your kindly replies! I am trying make my model as detailed, as possible - but sometime I meet puzzles. And now I ask for Bismsrckers help.
The pazzle is in the Laufbrucke (it is something like a service bridge around the outer end of the catapult).
Please, look at the last picture of the post.
The left insert is only my photo, where the Laufbruke CAN BE seen.
The right insert is a photo, where the Laufbruke SHOULD BE seen -but there isn't any part of it!
Has anybody a sharp photo (or a part of photo) of the Laufbrucke? Or a detailed description?
Was it a capital part of the ship or a removable part (and they can keep it in a hangar or even in a port)?
Your help will be very usefull!
With best regards-
Anatoly

Hi,
Have a look at this page, it starts right at the bottom:
viewtopic.php?f=47&t=4696&start=720 . I tend to aggree with them as I haven't come across any photos showing the walkways on the Bismarck except on some of the plans. On the photo the railings follows same pattern as also on the earlier photos of the same area (around the commissioning time). It seems only the support pillars were install in time.

Hi, Peter,
Thanks for the link!
Also my opinion (at the moment) is: the railings and gratings were removable parts and were installed only when the catapult was serviced...
With best wishes-
Anatoly

Hello, friends!
Thanks for your support!
Bob, let me explane my solution of the separating shield.
Please, have a look at the attached photos. It is evidence, that the part has a shelf in upper part!
Beside it, the shape of the shield was stolen from Bernd (
viewtopic.php?f=13&t=57213&start=220).
But I have to agree with you: some details of my model are "highlighted" a little bit (for example - armoured plates, rivelts, ets). I want to make very important details more "tasty" (if it is allowed to say...)
With best regards-
Anatoly

Hi Anatoly,
It is the shawdow of the flag & pole moving over the plate between the 2 grill inlets. The triangle just to the right of the shawdow is the bottom corner of the flag. The shadow gives you an idea of the shape of the plate.
BTW, for those who want to do more with the bottom of their Bismarck, have a look at the photo of Tirpitz on her side. The lines running down across the bottom give a good idea as to the shape:
http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/32 ... rums/page3 (4th photo).
http://www.ibiblio.org/hyperwar/UN/UK/U ... 3-12-4.jpg - I think it is 2 keel corners sticking out between the 2 propeller shafts.
http://www.nordicworld.tv/images/conten ... rogram.jpg - Also a nice close up of the centre shaft.

Hi, Peter,
thanks for the links!
Yes, the photos of the Tirpitz's wrecks have some interesting details about the bottom's construction - see also
http://www.bismarck-class.dk/tirpitz/ga ... wreck.html
But I think the hull was deformed and disassembled wery much when the photos were taken - so the better way is to use goog drawings-for example, the Gally's drawings.
What regarding the second keel : it was not a keel , but the dockkeel - see also my post here from 14.06.2013
With best regards - Anatoly

Some of the rivet detail is "wrong" if you allow some constructive comments. Dont know if you can change things at this stage?
