Re: HMS Medusa 1/350
I decided it was time to finish off the mines before i do anything else.
locating each one individualy onto the rails was asking for trouble, so i
decided to mount them onto a piece of wire, this way i can fix all 26 down as one.
They look a bit uneven in the picture, but this is just the silicon paper underneath
that has bowed slightly due to the undercoat spray.

Get it easy, with all these mines don't blow your model before it reaches the shelves
Someone, somewhere, is making money...

Hi Roy
I came across this set of photos from an album of 1927 on display in the Maritime Museum in Malta on a recent visit. Sorry about the quality but it was the best I could do copying old photos with flash behind glass. Cheers

Cheers for that Don
Have not done any more on her yet as i've been side tracked a little but will return to the build in about ten days.
I have two very well stocked gardens that take up my time, but as July starts it's feet up time

Re: HMS Medusa 1/350
Glad you like it guys
The jack staff along with a cable reel are missing as i think some kind soul put their fingers where they
shouldn't have, whilst it was at a show last Sunday. Why do people have to get so close, it really annoys me.
the Case i have is only a dust cover so will have to see about getting a glass one made.
The loa is roughly 150mm if memory serves me right but i'd rather not put a ruler near it, now she is mounted.
weathering is my favourite part of modelling, i could do it for hours on end.
and yes i'll take her to Telford.
Will start my next scratch build in the new year same scale just a bigger ship.
