Hello.
Bonjour .

Excuse me for my bad English.
Excuser moi pour mon mauvais Anglais .

I sometimes use the translator google ...

When I "hold" ( I'm not sure of the word ???) on the language of Shakespeare.

For guns I used copper wire and Evergrenn.

With a coat of paint, it should be ok for the guns ...
What do you think ?
Qu'en pensez vous ?

Good work!

I notice you have some of the ventilators between the guns.

Try making them like this:

>>The distinctively French tapered inverted cone ventilators were all turned from resin tubular stock using a bench clamped Motorized mini drill and a handheld Stanley blade as a cutting tool, I made dozens of differing sizes until I had sufficient stock from which to choose identical pairs.

Image

When finished they look pretty sharp-- nicer than the cast version I saw in the photo
ventilator.jpg
We have a lot of snow here-no work -so I will carry on with Carnot!

au revoir

Excuse me for my bad English .

Thank you Jim for your imformation .
Merci Jim pour vos conseils .

But I'm not your dexterity.
Mais je n'ai pas votre dextrit .

It is almost my first kit at 1/700me in 1 / 2 scratch .

My passion for the French battleships is very old, but the discovery kits 1/700 is new.

But I'll try .
Mais je vais essayer .

I do it usually .
Je fais cela d'habitude .

In addition to my profession "fishmonger" . ( google traduction !!! )
En plus de mon mtier de poissonnier .

1/72me

Hello Jim .

Evaporator standard battleship Neptune .

vaporateur standard sur cuirass Neptune.

This is 'nt the same model as your French battleship .

But I redo my evaporators because they were not in the right place and the wrong number and not beautiful .

Good evening to all .
Bonsoir tous .

Nothing is glued, it's just posing for the photo.

Nothing is painted permanently.
Rien n'est peint dfinitivement.

I had to rework several things of kit .

Tres bien!

As you see... building a Yumematu kit is not kit-building....

its is 70% scratchbuilding.... :(

Carnot is the same..--she will have all new turrets as well....

Your tarpaulings look very nice!

similar idea to what I did on Admiral Nahkimov...

http://www.modelwarships.com/reviews/sh ... ildup.html

open barbettes with canvas roof

---------

http://www.modelwarships.com/reviews/sh ... ildup.html

barbettes ouverte avec toit en toile

Good work!

Hello .
Bonjour .

Excuse me for my bad english.
Toutes mes excuses pour mon mauvais anglais.

I reworked the mast behind the castle , which does not correspond with the pictures.

I kept the rear barbette.
J'ai continu la barbette arrire .
The rear mast is too long, I cut at the pencil mark gray.

The disadvantage of the modern digital camera is that it is able to completly ruin your beautiful paint work on a model like this.
The naked eye might not see the imperfections which your camera shows at pretty good quility......
Very nice work!!!
