Rurik is now finished!!!!!!!!!
herewith a quick flash lit snapshot thru the glass case
a mere 12 hours of rigging and some careful seapainting has her looking very regal--and charging along at fair clip!
More and better photos here shortly--and then a build summary and a set of gallery photos in whats' new soon!

I am hoping for a windless day (!! ..in the UK Winter???!
) to shoot some photos out-doors in the near future

This is really incredible Jim! Congratulations.
At first, I saw your piuctures before reading the posts. I thought it was the new 1/350 kit from Combrig, which I just bought through WEM. Now I notice it is...1/700!! really amazing! I doubt I will ever be able to attaint that level of detailing in 1/350 !!!
Anyway, I'll start very soon now on my model. Winter is still long!!!
