Depends, but most decks are precut to go around fittings so I would say likely not.

Tony,
You need not cut away injection parts of deck for wooden deck applying.
Just peel off the woodendeck back film and apply on the deck directly.
Please use pure water spraying on both deck parts and back side of wooden deck for easy fitting.
With water you can use this wooden deck as water sliding decals.

Thank you

@USS California BB44
thankyou for the response

@ Mr Kim,
thanks for the response as well,

Are there anyone here connected with Hobbydecal?
I ordered both sets from Hobbydecal on 18Feb and it was shipped on 29Feb.
But up to now, almost a month, my order hasn't arrived.

Hobbydecal upto now hasn't replied to any of my emails such as some tracking numbers or any info that I can use.

This is my first purchase from them.

Best Regards

Tony

Amiers, I just picked up the Pontos deck for the Revell Bismarck today from my local shop. Not sure if one is made for the Tamiya kit though.

Now we are digging for the CV-10 and CV-14 detail up set this will come at late April or early may.
Just after these Carrers, we start 1/350 Bismarck and Tirpitz Detail up sets for Revell.
And we estimate these German sets will come out late June.

Thank you

I saw a Pontosmodel black deck on Ebay. Not sure if it was for the new or old model Yamato.

Hi Kim,

Good day,
It's been a week but up to now I did not receive anything.
Probably due to the holidays this last thursday upto monday (5~9 April '12).

Is there a tracking number that I can refer to?..

Thanks and more power to you and your team.

Best Regards,
Anthony

Hello,
When applying the Pontos aircraft metal deck, do you apply it on top of
the Tamiya one, or by itself?
Thanks.

Hello Eli,
You should flat with some cutting the surface of the Tamiya deck before applying this metal deck.
But this is not too hard work.
