Thanks guys for your posts, It was good to see all the work put in to the model sail away without any problems, you always have thoughts of something not quite right, my biggest worry was the wieght of the armourments up in the bandatands, but they did not affect the trim of the ship when sailing and turning.

Jim, thats very true, at full speed the bow wave was just under the anchor, but with the same wave patern, not that big dip in the middle of the ship that says she is going to fast, we hope to get more photo,s on sunday, the weather forecast is sunshine.

Thats the best part of building, is that first time you put her in the water!
...of course unless she sinks... or doesn't run ... then its not such a great moment (especially if there are people around
)

You should realise that if Comrade Wooley says 12 noon it will be 1155. It just so happens it's my lunch time as well, what's his rush I wonder. I can tell you now that the minesweeping element of the Kriegsmarine WILL NOT be sailing at 12 noon on 15.4.07 no matter what Comrade Wooley says, 1230/1245 maybe, but not 12 noon. Yes, this is MUTINY!
By the way, your 'Muppet' looks a 'Poppet' on the water. Damn good!

Andy, I already have 3 tugs in my colection, Cervia, Foundation Franklin 1/24 scale and HMS Resolve 1/40 scale.
The new project I have not built one of these vessels before.

Bravo Admiral, great to see her finally in the water. I hope you take more pictures soon. I would vote to see some without any background shadows and in a light that makes the water appear more blue. We also need one of your and your ships together!
