Here's some new 1/700 kits seen on FB - Flyhawk confirm the 1/700 HMS Duke of York (1943). It looks like Vee Hobby are doing a Uss Independence (1944) CVL and USS Helena (1942)

thanks

Seems like Very Fire is about to release IJN Mushashi soon.

https://www.hobbyeasy.com/en/data/j9l4d ... twucf.html

One can just hope that the next release wil be the IJN Aoba.

They've listed Atago as a future release.

Seriously disappointed that they are just rehashing Tamiya with a final fit version instead of going with as-commissioned, which is still a wide-open field for the Yamato class in 1:350. Someone else now has the change to get the drop on them!

Anyone knew anything about this?
It was announced today on Trumpeter's webpage: http://www.trumpeter-china.com/index.ph ... d=288&l=en

Note the 1/200 Olympic as well.

It was only a matter of time, but HobbyBoss has announced a 1/700 HMHS Britannic in their most recent previews, therefore being the first manufacturer ever to offer all three Olympic class liners; http://www.hobbyboss.com/index.php?g=ho ... d=263&l=en

It's about damn time. Revell managed Titanic and Olympic in 1/700 and Trumpeter in 1:200, but I'm unsure if all three have ever been available at once, in one scale, and I certainly don't think Britannic has ever had a plastic kit, every example I've seen being a bashed Titanic with 3rd party parts.

I, for one, am over the moon. Overdue and much welcomed.

Agreed! Im very tempted by Olympic of course, due to that amazing camouflage. Britannic though is just as cool. Finally a trio can reunite in plastic in 1/700.

I built Britannic based on a Revell Titanic kit some years ago with 3D parts and brass masts.

Joining Bronco's 1/700 Fujian aka Type 003 Aircraft Carrier will be a forthcoming one by Magic Factory as listed at squadron.com. Personally I found the Bronco version a bit on the crude side. Going by their 1/700 Gerald R. Ford I expect the Magic Factory version of the Fujian to be just as good.

These are just re-releases. While welcomed, they don't count as new releases for this thread.

Hopefully this means that they will be released soon.

Do they scale down to 1/700 their releases? Could be great to have a an accurate Atago and Takao in 1/700 in Full hull.

Fujimi already makes full hull versions of their most recent Takao and Atago moulds - do they have significant accuracy issues?:

But Very Fire has released the same subject in both 1/350 and 1/700 before, yes.
