Flyhawks Tirpitz in 1/700 has been "released" on Ebay. In other words, the sellers don´t have it yet but in a couple of weeks.

Must be very concrete as the thread there has boxes of tirpitz actually, not just art. So we will see it very soon, this is great news as Revell Tirpitz was most accurate one (and good luck finding that) while Trumpeter is around but not very good. So very nice to see this model out!maxim wrote: Mon Nov 17, 2025 4:21 am Announcement from FlyHawk in 1/700 scale:
German heavy cruiser Admiral Scheer
German battleship Tirpitz

This announcement has been around for a long time for the Admiral Scheer, but now it looks more concrete!
EDIT; can order one now on your four letter site.

Unsure why as this isn't the case with Triumph and hasn't ever been AFAIK. Their Facebook post explains that the kit consists of a resin hull and 3D printed parts:maxim wrote: Thu Nov 20, 2025 6:54 am but here referred to as a kit with injection-molded and 3D parts)

May be worth pointing out to HobbyEasy or other retailers - if somebody buys expecting a plastic kit but receives resin I'd expect some upset, especially if not used to the medium!

But, we will have to see? Renown, Vanguard mentioned years ago? Sadly no mention of KGV?

Some interesting subjects in 350th. Will the Hipper be better than my trumpy kit already in the stash? Will the IJN stuff come in at better prices than Hasegawa & Fujimi? With 40 odd various ships in my stash, I'm at S.A.B.L.E. I 'd like to add a few more ships, but I have to be more selective.

Interesting if it comes to pass. They announced that as an upcoming release in 2018.
