Hi,

thats a picture of my first attempt based on a commercial hull it is not to scale :heh: . The "valid" pictures are of my second scratch built hull posted in the later half of my build log!

Talk to you soon,

Bernd.

PMs are in the Outbox until they are read by the recipient, so just leave them be.

I also finally finished the center shaft housing - an area that is always wrong* on "scale" models. :wave_1:

Hi 109,

I noticed that while preparing the sonar recess on the bow bulb, you engraved one waterline ang some welding seams around the sonar recess. Do you intend to make welding seams all over the hull?

Magnificent job. What is the dia of those bezels in 1/100? Did you make yourself in a lathe?

Hi,

made them at a friends lathe. This year I want to buy a lathe and a milling machine for my own workshop ...

Diameters are 1 mm for the microphones and 2 mm for the bezels.

Bye,

Bernd.

Hi, Bernd!

Again and again you surprise me by your accuracy and ... an unexpected technical data!
I mean the GHG .
There is a difference (location and number) with
http://www.bismarck-class.dk/technicall ... g/ghg.html
Why?
With best regards

Hi,

hmmm... that layout looks very artificial to me - at best! :cool_1:
I have not seen a single plan with such a layout of the GHG ...

Hi, Bernd,
The picture looks both nice and strange.
Where did you get it (if it isn't a top secret, of course)?
