Hiya Tom,
Mine is coming along great, although its 4.7 cm shorter now, i realised one day that my Desert Storm USS Platte was not Jumboised. i will purchase another one or two, it took a lot of deliberating and Umming and Ahhing before i took the saw to a kit of such detail as your Cimarron, i hope to still do it justice.
Just please do not tell me you have plans for an Unjumboised Cimarron.
Regards
John

It s coming along very well Tom. i hope that it will be finished by next weekend. Although the kit is the best i ve ever seen it is also the most demanding kit i have ever built.
I ll post pics as soon as it is finished. John will post photos of his build too so we ll see a pre-Jumboised and a Jumboised Cimmaron.

Midway could carry F-14s but due to the small size of the carrier this was never done operationally because it wouldn t have been effective. I have seen though photos of some visiting F-14s.

AN/SPS-6B and AN/SPS-8 are included in GMM modern USN/JMSDF PE set. SPN-6 is on the GMM USN SUPERCARRIERS set
I ll keep looking for the rest.
