I recently finished the E-2A Hawkeye of VAW-112, CVW-9, in 1/72 (old Fujimi/Bachman kit) and four 1/720s (Revell #5046 USS Enterprise kit). Here's some photos. A-3 Skywarriors will be next.

Excellent work on the '720 versions. I hope your workbench is big enough for the skywarrior in 1/72.

Just finished the Skywarriors. 1/72 Hasegawa Kits for KA-3B and EKA-3B to represent VAH-2 Royal Rampants and VAW-13 Zappers with combination of kit, Straighter, and homemade decals. Then made 3 of each in 1/700 from Trumpeter kits and Straighter decals.

Just completed my C-1A Trader; converted from Hasegawa S-2 Tracker and the old Falcon Conversion Vacuum Form kit for the belly and rear end of the engine nacelles. Had to remove and replace/scratch build all surface detail. First time folding wings (the Black Dog kit is a bear to get right) and first time wiring antenna, used EZ Line, and it was pretty easy. Again, used GRS Videos Tonkin Gulf video as reference.
Then used the trackers from the USS Princeton kit and turned into Trader with Straighter decals. And placed her on the deck
UH-2C Seasprite is next.

Completed the 1/72 Clear Prop UH-2C and will start working on the WEM 1/700 SeaSprites. And I'm also going to start on finishing the ship with vehicles, crew, and final placement of all of the above.

Started on the deck support vehicles. Used the Black Dog 1/700 kit (16 vehicles) as well as 8 more vehicles stolen from the CV-62 kit. And will make the small fork lifts from the Admiralty Model Works kit next.

Small fork lifts from the Admiralty Model Works kit. Extremely fiddly....I think I can go with at least 3 of these after some more fiddling. So that should do it for the deck support vehicles.

Well, after 12 years, I've finally finished my USS Enterprise Project: The ship in 1/720 and the aircraft of CVW-9 in 1/72. It's been a labor of love. See the results below.

Photo of the Enterprise passing under the Golden Gate Bridge, November 1966 from a family member. They also have some home movie footage of this as well that I'm trying to get copied to digital.
