Hi, I was surfing the net in an attempt to locate a source for model ship decals. I have a DML 1/350 kit for the USS Spruance (DD963). I served on the Comte De Grasse (DD 974) and would like to dress it to look like my old ship. Is there anyone that can supply the decals I need to do this? Any help would be great! You can reach me at
kmann@midviewinternet.com .Thank you very much, Ken Mann
P.S. WOW, great work on the hangar deck!

Are these enough ? :

or do you need something more specific ? Have you tried printing your ship's name using Navy typo and MS Word as it seems for me it's the only specific typo missing for your ship?

Many thanks for your decals, BTW. I will post pix of my CVN-65 hangar deck somewhere around here tonight. Your decals are marvelous, and I'm glad I could contribute a little to the process. I note that my artwork is a little off center along the long axis, but at a reduced scale for the doors it seems to not matter much. Perhaps a slight manipulation in Photoshop to skew the right side a bit so both sides look balanced is in order

I have recently been visiting this site and have been impressed with your work in 1/350, is it possible to obtain a set of CVW 1 & the Hangar details?

Thank you for your kind comment, Uzun.
Question : How did you get access to the file with full printing rights as I don't remember having answered such a request from you ?

I've downloaded it from this link
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=880NJ43U that you gave above. But I now realize it was just a preview.
So I sent my e-mail via PM. Sorry for misunderstanding

Many thanks for the Hangar Details, I orginally purchased the Tamiya Big E in 1990 when I left the Navy. What with one thing and another I never got round to starting it. Towards the back end of last year I decided to start, initially with the air wing CVW 14 circa 1976, this is underway. However, it meant my model would be the wrong time frame, this resulted in a web search to try and obtain a MHM release of the original configuration. This was unsucessful, but I did purchase the MHM post 1980 version which I intend to convert to 1976. I will then build the Tamiya kit to the present day Big E. It is almost 50 years since she entered service, I hope they do carry on the name with the carrier after the Gerald Ford.
