Re: Model Monkey Catalog
Here's the revised set of HMS Duke of York funnels in 1/350 scale, 1945 British Pacific Fleet appearance, to include integrated funnel caps. Previously, as a cost-saving measure, it was advised to use the plastic kits funnel caps. Including integrated funnel caps in the design ensures a seamless interior uptake.
The extended platform on the forward funnel supported two electrically-operated, twin-gun 20mm Oerlikon cannon mounts. Fellow Modelwarships.com sponsor Micro Master offers a beautifully detailed set of twin-gun Oerlikon cannon mounts. Link:https://micromaster.co.nz/products/1-35 ... a0e4&_ss=r
The extended platform on the aft funnel supported a single-gun 20mm Oerlikon cannon.

Steve, received the Prince of Wales funnels today. They are fantastic and fit perfectly! Can't believe you were able to make a new revised funnel and get it to me in less than a week. Pleasure working with [and purchasing your product].

Re: Model Monkey Catalog
Some recent printings for classic Revell kits: fire control directors for your 1/570 scale USS North Carolina BB-55 and USS Washington BB-56, and a fairwater to help convert your 1/180 scale Gato class submarine kit to the Balao class USS Lionfish SS-298. Look closely, they all feature very subtle rivet and bolt-head detail.

Re: Model Monkey Catalog
Good point, David. Some of my customers are French-speaking and prefer to use the French "NCSM" prefix ("Navire canadien de Sa Majest") rather than the English "HMCS" prefix, especially those customers who live in Quebec where French is the official language. But for those that prefer nameplates with the English "HMCS" prefix, nameplates are also available for the same ships with "HMCS" before the name (see below samples).
Since Canada is officially bi-lingual, it is no surprise that photos confirm the Canadian Navy uses both prefixes. Take for example the official Facebook page for HMCS Ville de Quebec: https://www.facebook.com/NCSMVilledeQuebec332/ Also notice which prefix is used in the Facebook page link.

Yes, Canada is bi-lingual, see e.g. here photos from a visit of St. John's last year:

Yes, but the photos above show an actual ship of the Canadian navy clearly using both HMCS and NCSM

Steve, any possibility of a tripod mast for Gearing class ships modified in the 50's and 60's. The Dragon 1/350 models are really nice.
