everything is assembled to white, which may cause an aspect "crooked" of some parts
and to compare the same "module" in 52

Image

Otherwise, I have received of Arsenal, my guns 380 mm in brass turned and I have re-molded 2 turrets that will be my master for the version 41

Image

Indeed, the turrets will not be equipped with blast bags, and will look like this

that'll force me to detail the mantlets of each barrel
see you soon for further progress

Man, LE BOSCO you do great work. Looks really good. After seeing what you and others have done for their builds makes me feel like retiring my X-acto knife. Maybe I should stop trying to be a third rate model builder and work on becoming a first rate bird watcher. Never mind I like building models to much. Enjoy your build, because I am.

HI folks :wave_1:

thanks for your kind comments :thumbs_up_1:
As you have seen, I start work on the castle, with finishes, well; there was something that bothered me. And after reviewing my documentation, I noticed that the "trumpet" was again tripped over the carpet.... In fact the castle is composed of two separate parties, namely on the front a kind of tube which forms the bunker, and the rear, another tube forming the nerve center of ship .these two tubes, in the reality are connected by two bulkheads and that is where "Trumpy" is mistaken
Image

At the blue arrow, the part that I stuck thinking does well: no: and the red part or it must be ....... a small difference that does not see on the 43 version, seen that these areas are hidden by the bathtubs of 40 mm quad
So the result after of the "surgery
Image
The hatched area, corresponds to the space there was between the two "tubes"
By searching I also found that the two blocks behind the castle was a modernization posed to the U.S. in 43, so I removed
Image

but I made a "plan B" if I ever find a photo that proves me the opposite

Image

another challenge waiting for me, I try to redo the bulwarks ..... the workpiece with the bulwark of origin
Image

and now the same with the base of the new platform

Image

otherwise, small views of the chimney "primed"

Image

Image

it looks better like that, right?

Cheers
Nicolas
