Ships are referred to as female, and your efforts at replicating her form are very admirable. If she were a living being, she'd be proud of the work you've put into this model.

My only comment on the 5" twin mounts is that the elevation is in a common sleeve, for other than maintenance the barrels move as one.

The accurate production of so many 40 mm barrels is very impressive. I have built those for my much larger 1:120 ship project and they are not easy! I still haven't made the 20 mm barrels which will be about the same size as your 40 mm's.
As always impressive. So far I have no ready made commercial materials in my ship, you are providing the inspiration!

I don't use any machines,use only stationery cutter and sand paper.

Impressive work, getting all of them to be the same. I just finished eight twin 20 mm Orlikon's in the much easier 1:120 scale. Your dedication to using wood for everything including such items as chains which most modelers would buy, shows a great mastery of the medium. Thank you for the continuing inspiration! Tom
