Sure does, think kellys trying to annoy me
This has made me rethink my Truman build, what with Starfighter redoing the 70's era CVW decals and Ray Beans CVN-77 CD, not to mention the cheap 2nd Nimitz kit i managed to get for spares (and cock ups!). Not i ain't sure which ship to build
Anyway, this really is looking like a fantastic build, something i will continue to watch.

Impressive doesn't even begin to describe it. You plan on coming to the IPMS/National convention in Columbus with this beauty?

Nice work Kelly. Love the drop tank racks. Those really add to the interior shots.

Hi Kelly,

Work has begun on the flight deck. The catwalks have been completely removed and will be sratchbuilt later. The grossly overscale tie down points have been filled in with Mr. Surfacer:
After drying for about 10 minutes, just take a rag soaked with denatured alcohol and wipe off the excess - no sanding! The overscale foul lines have also been filled in:
The deck sections were assembled, and the seams were dealt with. Then the fun part, masking and painting! I prefer painting the markings over using decals.
Still need to paint a few things, then I'll start on the catwalks - that's going to be fun...
