I have JAG Collective's SATCOM dome set just for my DDG-102. As far as I know, some of those should suffice for my Sampson. I also have a couple on a spare parts sprue that might work.

It is a Japanese company called M atelier. JAG Collective's SATCOM dome set doesn t have this part because it s not a dome. Its the successor of OE-82. If you need a couple of these beauties i could send them to you.

Thanks for the offer, Nektarios. I'll take a closer look at the model and Sampson and I'll get back with you. I did notice that the Sampson has more "domes" than previous flights of AB DDGs.

Thanks for the addtional photos! Beautiful model and beautiful water! And the water looks easy enough to make. Is that Liquitex Gel? What color is undeneath?

I've been using Tamiya's Ocean Effect Plate A for my water. Your method may be a lot cheaper to do, than mine.

Pere your CG is Outstanding, great build and paint job,

Carl and Wolf again two Outstanding DDG builds, i use acylic sealant/caulking to make my sea bases, comes in clear and an assortment of colors, keep them coming guys.

I concur!! I just opened my 1/700 Trumpy Hornet & found a sheet of "water" came with it and am seriously considering putting it to good use

I am still completing the narrative for a "How-To" on this ocean effect method. The photos are done, but I have to tell the story of about all of the "in-betweens". I plan to submit the "How-To" to ship modeling web pages, like this one, soon.
