Hi,

to create my waves I used glossy acryic soft-gel by Schmincke. I am not sure, but I think it's nearly the same gel what NukeMM uses, only by another producer.

I think i m getting crazy. I ve got 10 days free of work and here s what i ll start building and try to finish

3 Kilauea and 1 LCS.

I know the real ship does not have the Mk8 Mod1 Gun, but they add to the sleak look of these ships.

Hopefully she will be joined by the Illustrious when I finish my Victorious.

Hi ASFC Yes you re right its one one of PT Dockyards creations. I admit its lacking some RN flavour. I have built several RN ships but they aren t good builds so you won t see pics of them. I m intending to build in the future Type 23 and 45 as well as Illustrious but i don t know when this will happen.

Your Manchester is a beauty. By the way which Nimitz class CVN does it accompany?

An Italeri Ronald Reagan-which I thought was a good kit until I realised it was missing some of the radomes that have appeared around the flightdecks of CVNs. So now I have just got to find time to retrofit them.

Here is the bigger picture. Note lack of radomes on CVN-76. The other ships, going clockwise from the Sub at the top are: USS Jimmy Carter, HMS Manchester, CVN-76, USS Mobile Bay, ORP Orzel, USS Bunker Hill, USS Winston S. Churchill.

Wow what great stuff, I am working on my last CG (for now) and I hope it looks as good as Pere's I also agree that some RN ships would be nice to see more of them here.

CVW-6 1972 VA-176. Now only 4 EA-3 remain to finish the 76 aircraft airwing.

LCS-1 is almost finished. I added to the kit PE doors, helo nets, decals and i replaced the Ram launcher.

I always thought that the GD LCS was prettier than LCS-1, but your (as usual) stunning models has left me undecided again!

Although I think that 57mm Gun mount looks wrong, but that could just be the light reflecting of it.

I think you re right about the 57mm gun mount but there s no aftermarket replacement for it.

Thank you Wolf224. The length of the model is 15 cm.

Carl, what is the size of the Tamiya Water Effect Plate? I want to make some dioramas and i d like to know if it is big enough for a carrier in 1/700.
