Beware of the vertical lower rudder: there's got to be two,not one like the model!

JAM,
I'd be REALLY satisfied!!!!
Great stuff, keep it coming!
Question (I'm noob, so don't laugh): is the white stuff all over your reworked areas Mr. Surfacer or similar? You use it to spot defects or you give it at the end to cover minor scratches that happened accidentally after reworks? Just curious as I am somewhat in the same situation (I just finished carving out all the lmber holes of my Victor III).
Cheers,
Nicola

Hallo Jam,
that look not really as an in between project!
A very good example how to put a lot of fine details to a more or less clean subject like a submarine
But I'm really curious about how you will paint the boat!

hi everybody
thanks Nicolas, Andy and Christian for looking and for your kind comments
Christian, I think the painting is very important and what I enyoy most in the realization of a model, and more like your comment in a more or less clean model, such as modern submarines, I have fun trying to reproduce the effects of paint, the weathering time.
I started with the paint job will upload the photos soon.
masts of different electronic systems and location
painted
propellers

Brilliant work!
Have you considered replacing PS rods with stainless steel medical syringes for periscopes and other masts?
Steel tubes are stiff, round and they do not have to be painted. With sanding paper and some weathering you can add the effects of lathed metal and grease.

hi marek
thanks for looking and your kind comment.
Yes, I considered changing periscopes and masts of metal, medical syringes or steel wire, but I can not find some diameters, only in brass. Although I think it is easier periscopes turning in plastic. The antenna in the picture to the right is made with metal tubes.
best regards

Looks great! The detail inside the hatch is just top notch.
I got a question about the exterior though - isn't the surface suppose to be covered with rubber plates? Its just yours looks like you were trying to rust it up a bit...
just wondering
