I know that scale rulers smaller than "N" scale are not produced. So I am looking for someone who can make or direct me to were I can fine a scale ruler for "Z" 1/220 scale and one for 1/350 scale. I have a few models ships in the 1/350 scale I would like to reproduce into the 1/96 scale for R/C power. Thanks mike

Does anyone know where I can purchase a 1/700 scale ruler? The Loose Cannon Productions earthlink webpage does not appear to be operational any more and a general web search did not yield any alternate sources except for one in Australia and another in China but they are metric and I seek scale feet.

Here's an option: https://www.hlj.com/1-700-scale-scale-ruler-thdtsd00246

Includes both feet and metres.

Awesome! Thank you very much! I ordered two. Just what I needed.

Doesn't a foot in 1/350 = 1 millimeter? Or close to it?

Pretty close! In future I'll measure 9mm for every 10 feet, instead of 1 cm. But it was so much more convenient measuring 1' = 1mm!

You already got an answer for the ruler in plastic, both in 1/700 and 1/350.

Personally I prefer a steel ruler, and I found this one:

You see, it's 1/35. That means that when you use it for 1/350, every increment is 10 feet, and the subdivision are single feet - exactly! (not 'just about')

I use it for many years already, and the useful side effect, the lower scale is also usable, but then in Metres. Very handy!

A similar one can also be found on HLJ: https://www.hlj.com/1-350-scale-ruler-thdtsd00228. Unfortunately out of stock currently.

That will do if you make small measurements on a model, like a gun tub or so. But if you measure over longer distances the error adds up considerably: you're in fact 15% off! That's not a small deviation in my view...

You wouldn't accept a 1:350 kit being accurate, as in fact it is 1:400, would you? That is the same error!
