looking for brass or copper bar

Post by mrwawa »

I am looking for 0.3mmX0.3mm square bar (and smaller), preferably in US location.

or can i cut brass sheet with exacto knife???

thanks :)

I needed for 1/700, to make support beams to hold up life boats. i have 0.3mm plastic stock, but it's very flimsy. I also have 0.3mm rod in brass or copper (it's yellow gold color) but I prefer in square bar. so i can glue the lifeboat cradle on top of it.

I just did a little on-line checking and couldn't find anything smaller that 1/8 inch square.

I suppose you could cut sheet with an exacto, but you may find that a paper cutter is more effective (less prone to fatal swerves)
